Islamabad, Islamabad Police have arrested the accused involved in the target killing of President of Jamaat-e-Islami Union Council No. 48, Imdadul Haq last week.
Sources told Online that despite tip off police demonstrated the usual indifference. Later on the workers of JI themselves arrested the accused and handed over to police and four of their accomplices managed to escape. The names of the arrested accused are kept secret.
It is recalled that following this incident the CIA homicide unit has widen the areas of investigation and police collected vital clues.
According to hospital sources the young man was shot dead from a distance of six feet and dead body thrown into a gorge.
To a question by Online SSP Islamabad Najeebal Rehman Bagol told that the accused have not yet been arrested but police succeeded to trace them through modern technology. He said they are observing the movements of accused to arrest other accomplices.
