Dr.Shahid Masood on a 5-day remand

ISLAMABAD, (TLTP): A Senior Civil Judge of Islamabad on Saturday placed the former managing director of Pakistan Television and anchorperson Dr.Shahid Masood on a five-day remand in an embezzlement case, filed allegedly for denting the state-run television kitty by Rs.38 millions while granted cricket matches broadcasting rights to a fake company.
Federal Investigation Agency on November 23 apprehended Dr.Masood soon after Islamabad High Court declined to grant him pre-arrest bail concession in the matter.
Senior Civil Judge Amir Khalil passed the order after FIA produced Dr.Shahid Masood before the court this morning with a 10-day remand prayer in the case.
