AC judge signs detailed verdict in Flagship Investment reference

Accountability Court Islamabad Judge Mohmmad Arshad Malik has signed a total of 80 pages verdict in the National Accountability Bureau’s reference over Flagship Investment against Nawaz Sharif in which the former prime minister has been acquitted.
A local television channel on Sunday claimed that the Judge of the Court has finalized detail verdict in the matter, adding the defence counsel may apply for an attested copy of the judgment during the course of day on Monday.
While acquitting Nawaz Sharif in Flagship Investment reference on December 24, Judge Mohammad Arshad Malik said the court has not found material against Nawaz Sharif, however, announcing verdict in the Al-Azizia/Hill Metal Establishment (HME) case, the Judge has convicted Mr Sharif and awarded him seven years’ imprisonment in addition to fine.
