Aqeel Afzal of Express TV becomes PAS President

The new cabinet of Press Association of Supreme Court (PAS) was elected with consensus on Thursday.
According to a notification issued here by the Chief Election Commissioner Sohail Khan of the News, M.Aqeel Afzal of Express TV was announced as President while Zulqarnain Iqbal of Samaa TV as General Secretary.
Other members of the PAS body include, Vice President Syed Sabeehul Hassan of Daily Nation, Finance Secretary Allahdad Siddiqui of Din TV and Information Secretary M Azam Gill of Daily Nawa-e-Waqat as Information Secretary.
Similarly, Members of Executive Body are; Amanat Gishkori of 24 News TV, Adeel Sarfaraz of Aaj TV, Babar Anwar Abbasi of GNN TV.
As many as 45 journalists from national electronic and print media who used to cover Supreme Court proceedings are members of the PAS.
Former President of the PAS and Editor of TLTP Khudayar Mohla congratulated the new office bearers of the Association.
