A lady of Karachi urged the chief justice of Pakistan to issue directives the concerned authorities to ensure her constitutional right to life, liberty and property as she is running from pillar to post but no one at the helm of affairs is ready to pay heed to protect her family.
Filing an application to human right cell of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday, Naheed Akhtar, a resident of PECHS Karachi, submitted that she is facing heinous crime of persecution on the grounds that as to why her family has extended help to a Non-Muslim family in daily affairs.
She also pointed out that earlier during the year of 2019 her one brother namely Faheem Baig expired due to life threats in the matter. Besides, she claimed that her other brother Asad Tasleem fled abroad in order to avoid any miserable situation as his life was also in danger. She submitted that an angry mob attempted to murder her brother Asad Tasleem when he was offering prayer in a mosque of PECHS Karachi during 2019.
She prayed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan through the human rights cell of the Supreme Court to protect her family’s constitutional right to life, liberty and property while issuing directives to concerned authorities to apprehend the people involved in the heinous crime.
