LAHORE – The Lahore CSS Academy (LCA) issued a triumphant announcement celebrating its students’ success in the 2024 Central Superior Services (CSS) examinations. The academy’s results clearly reaffirm a principle: success in rigorous competition demands unwavering competency, dedication, and commitment.

As the LCA’s achievements illustrate, Pakistan holds abundant talent – a “very fertile soil” that merely needs the “drop of water” of specialized coaching to flourish into high-level achievement frames a new cohort of allocated officers who secured coveted positions across Pakistan’s federal government structure.

The celebratory news focuses on candidates allocated to highly sought-after occupational groups, including the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Pakistan Customs Service (PCS), and Inland Revenue Service (IRS).

The LCA’s list of successful aspirants features several candidates who achieved double-digit ranks on the final merit list. Leading the successful cohort into the prestigious PAS are Ayesha Mehmood, who secured the 13th Position; Abdul Wahab, the 18th Position holder; and Afifa Khalid, who ranked 25th. They are joined in the PAS by Sharoon Nazir and Jahanzeb.

According to Press Note of the Federal Public Service Commission – in the customs and revenue services, the academy celebrated the allocation of Junaid Jan, Azfar Adeeb, and Gulzar Ali to the PCS. The IRS welcomes Zunaira Akram, M. Hurain Khalid, Rimsha, and Muhammad Asif from the LCA cohort. Additionally, Hamza Bin Naseer was allocated to the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service (PAAS), and Amna Hira and Roshaan E Gul secured positions in the Office Management Group and IRS, respectively.

This success, according to the academy, is a testament to the rigorous, focused preparation provided by the LCA, particularly in developing the analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills demanded by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC). These are abilities for which the country’s general education system is frequently criticized for failing to adequately prepare students.
