ISLAMABAD: For young graduates looking to step beyond the classroom and into the machinery of public-sector governance, an opportunity has opened at the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), Cabinet Division, which has invited applications for its Paid Internship Program – offering practical exposure to public procurement, regulatory affairs, public policy, legal research, information technology, finance and public administration.
According to the announcement, uploaded on July 19, 2026, the internship will run for two to three months, extendable subject to performance and institutional requirements, and carries a monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000. Selected interns will be based at PPRA’s office on the 1st Floor of the FBC Building, near the State Bank of Pakistan, Sector G-5/2, Islamabad.
To be eligible, applicants must hold at least 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university, or be enrolled in the final year of a 16-year degree program at an HEC-recognized institution. The degree must have been obtained within the last two years, and applicants must not exceed 28 years of age as of the closing date.
Applications will be accepted for 15 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.
PPRA has encouraged applications from graduates across a range of disciplines, including Law, Public Policy, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, and other relevant fields.
Selection will be made purely on merit, based on academic qualifications, screening of documents, and an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and no TA/DA will be admissible.
The Authority has clarified that the internship does not confer any right to regular appointment at PPRA, and interns will be required to observe the Authority’s rules, regulations and code of conduct. PPRA has reserved the right to increase or decrease the number of internships, cancel the recruitment process, or reject any or all applications without assigning a reason. Incomplete applications, or those received after the closing date, will not be entertained, and the internship may be terminated at any stage for unsatisfactory performance or violation of the terms of engagement.
