While chairing meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) on Thursday Chief Justice Sardar Asif Saeed Khan Khosa approved three names for appointment as additional judges of the Sindh High Court (SHC).
According to sources, three recommended judges are Additional Sessions Judge Rashida Asad, Abdul Mubeen Lakho and Muhammad Zulifqar Ali whereas name was not recommended.
Senior judges of the top court, Chief Justice of the SHC, Federal Law Minister Dr.Faroogh Nasim, Attorney General for Pakistan Anwar Mansoor Khan, representatives of Pakistan Bar Council and other members of the Commission attended the meeting.
The Commission will send recommended names of the judges to the Parliamentary Committee on Judges Appointment which has discretion to approve or disapprove any name form the recommended list.
