Washington, : Pakistani Ambassador to US Aizaz Chauhdary has said that Pakistanti soil will not be allowed to be used against anyone.
He held a meeting with 8- member delegation of US journalists in Washington and gave briefing about Pakistan.
He stated that Pakistan has rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war against terrorism but now we will not allow anyone to use Pakistani soil against anyone.
He held that economic indicators are positive due to ant-terrorism operation and consequently security situation in Pakistan has been improved.
He told the journalists that affected areas have been cleansed from terrorism through successful Army operations.
Development work is underway in the areas cleansed from terrorism, he indicated.
Pakistan is opposed to terrorism and nefarious designs .However wrong impression about Pakistan will have to be brushed aside and it will have to be seen from new dimension. .
To a question from US journalist he said positive image of Pakistan has emerged in evolving situation.
Different countries including US are investing in CPEC. He made it clear here that whenever US supported Pakistan, both countries got benefits therefore we hope for a good relation with US.
Aizaz Chauhdary said while replying to a question about Pak- Afghan matter that instability in Afghanistan impacted Pakistan and its region.
However the solution to Afghan problem is in the hand of local stake holders.
Stability in Afghanistan is must for peace in South Asia, he asserted.
