TLTP REPROT
Islamabad: The U.S. Ambassador’s Fund awarded 11 new grants and is inaugurating new forums that connect grant recipients with each other and technical experts in their fields.

Stated in press release here on Thursday that through these “communities of practice,” grantees meet to discuss their experiences and access expert technical advice about how to ensure the success and long-term sustainability of their work with local communities.
The groups are issue-based and are organized around the Fund’s five priority areas – culture and the arts, disaster preparedness, energy solutions, social entrepreneurship, and vulnerable populations.
From 2017 to 2022, the Ambassador’s Fund will award approximately 200 grants to support Pakistani organizations in their efforts to improve the economic and social conditions of the people of Pakistan. Registered private sector organizations, non-governmental organizations, and non-government research and training institutions in all parts of the country are eligible to apply for grants.
The U.S. Ambassador’s Fund in Pakistan is managed by the Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability. More information, including guidance about applying for a grant, is available at http://tdea.pk/afgp/.
