5 unknown intimidates Arshad Waheed Chaudhry

Islamabad: A large number of journalists of the metropolis Wednesday expressed grave concern over intimidation of senior correspondent of Geo television Arshad Waheed Chaudhry at Islamabad Highways Express on Tuesday.
Seeking attention of the concerned authorities for tangible action against unknown persons who intercepted Chaudhry, journalists urged the law enforcement agencies to nab the culprits without any delay and put them behind bars.
As many as five persons intercepted Chaudhry at a point known as Khanapull while he was on the way to home in his car from office.
Chaudhry said in a tweet, “While my way to home some unknown people in Honda Civic Registration Number ABU 014 tried to intercept me and make me frightened, stopped me but after swing a long que behind me they ran away”.
Talking to TLTP, narrowly escaped Chaudhry told soon after an untoward happening, he gave call to Rescue 15 and leaders of the National Press Club whereas cops of Koral police station assured him to apprehend the culprits at any cost.
However, Police failed to apprehend culprits after 24 hours of the incident even knowing the car registration number.
