Speaking at an event held at the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA), following the inauguration of a training program for the district judiciary, CJP Isa emphasized the need for substantial consequences for those who engage in frivolous litigations. He stressed the importance of uniformity in imposing costs, ensuring a fair and consistent approach across all judges. In an effort to enhance public trust in the judiciary, CJP Isa highlighted the reliance of the Supreme Court on the district judiciary. He pointed out that the initial interaction with litigants occurs at the district level, and strengthening this foundation would alleviate the caseload on higher courts. Acknowledging the gradual integration of technology into the justice system, CJP Isa equated technology to a tool as significant as a pen for knowledge. He expressed optimism that technology’s implementation, already  underway in the Supreme Court, would bring additional transparency and efficiency, thereby reducing case backlogs.
