SRINAGAR, : In Occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani has expressed serious concern over the plight of Kashmiri detainees languishing in different jails in India.
In a statement in Srinagar, Syed Ali Gilani said Kashmiri detainees are not criminals but political prisoners who are being subjected to detention for their political convictions.
Meanwhile Jamaat-e-Islami, while expressing concern over continued bloodshed of Kashmiri people has urged the international community to take notice of the deteriorating human rights situation in the territory.
