Internet.bs Updates Policy – Urges Renewal by Aug 31 to Avoid Domain Loss

A global domain name registrar and provider of web and email services based in Nassau, Bahamas, Internet.bs has announced updates to its Terms and Conditions, effective August 27, 2025, introducing a new clause under the section ‘Cancellation of a Domain Name or a Web and/or Email Service’.

The amendment gives the registrar the authority to deactivate, delete, or utilize domain names at its discretion if they are not renewed by the customer before expiration, even after reminders and the grace period. In cases of non-payment, customers’ domain names may be returned to the registry, auctioned, transferred to third parties, or used by the registrar for its own purposes.

The registrar will implement such actions no earlier than five days after the expiry date for domains with a Renewal Grace Period, or immediately for those without one. Customers are advised that the termination or non-renewal of a domain will be considered as consent for the registrar to proceed with these actions unless they explicitly object before the term ends.

Internet.bs emphasized the importance of timely renewals to maintain ownership rights, recommending customers enable auto-renewal and keep valid payment methods on file. The company currently offers a renewal grace period of up to 30 days, depending on the domain extension, but reserves the right to modify this in the future.

For more information or assistance, customers can contact the Internet.bs support team.
