Intra court appeal filed by Nehal Hashmi against his conviction in contempt of court case fixed for hearing

Islamabad, Supreme Court(SC) has fixed for hearing intra court appeal filed by Nehal Hashmi against decision in contempt of court case.
A three members bench of SC headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar will conduct the hearing of case on March 06.
SC had disqualified Nehal Hashmi for 5 years on Feb 01and ordered for sending him to jail for one month. Nehal Hashmi has been released from jail after completing his sentence term.
According to the cause list issued by SC, Chief Justice has constituted a 3 members bench to conduct the hearing of Nehal Hashmi’s intra court appeal. The bench comprises Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan. CJP will head this bench.
It has to be mentioned here that during the hearing of Panama case , Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) had taken suo moto notice of threatening speeches of Nehal Hashmi and fixed the case for hearing before Panama case implementation bench.
However, A 3 member’s bench headed by Justice Asif Khosa rejected the unconditional apology offered by Nehal Hashmi and awarded punishment to him.
