LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has declared as many as 23 candidates successful in the written examination held on May 23, 2026, for promotion against vacant posts of Staff Officer to District & Sessions Judge (BS-18), whose schedule for interviews will be issued later.
According to a press release issued by the Central Examination Secretariat on September 30, 2026, the successful candidates have been listed in order of their roll numbers. Assistant Registrar (Examinations-I) Mian Ahmed Ilyas, for the Registrar signed the notification in the matter.
The successful candidates list includes the names of Taswar Iqbal, son of Ghulam Rasool (Roll No. 350002), followed by Muhmmad Luqman, son of Noor Muhammad (350003), and Rai Hamza Ali, son of Akram Ali Khan (350011). Next on the list are Muhammad Husnain Nawaz, son of Haqnawaz (350030), Muhammad Jamshaid, son of Muhammad Bukhsh (350037), Umar Javed, son of Javed Iqbal (350042), and Imran Ahmad, son of Sultan Ahmad (350056).
Tahmeena Javid, daughter/wife of Muhammad Javid (350064), is also among the successful candidates. She is followed by Muhammad Haseeb Sarwar, son of Muhammad Sarwar (350081), Azeem Javed, son of Muhammad Shafique (350084), Shah Nawaz, son of Zulifqar Ali (350103), and Talal Hussain, son of Ghulam Hussain (350107).
The list further includes Muhammad Naseer, son of Muhammad Amir (350114), Yasar Saleem, son of Muhammad Saleem (350133), Sana Ullah, son of Aman Ullah (350154), and Amir Shahzad, son of Manzoor Hussain (350168). Also declared successful are Syed Aqeel Haider, son of Syed Ajmal Hussain Gillani (350177), and Muhammad Rohail Maqsood, son of Muhammad Maqsood (350180).
The final names on the list are Muhammad Nadeem, son of Muhammad Yousaf (350204), Irfan Ghazanfar, son of Ghazanfar Ali (350215), Shahbaz Hussain, son of Ghulam Nabi (350219), Hamza Sabir, son of Rana Sabir Mumtaz (350241), and Asad Ur Rehman, son of Abdul Rehman (350253).
Provisional list, no right of appointment
The press release clarifies that the list is provisional and does not, in any manner, confer a right of appointment.
Warning on concealment of facts
The notification further provides that if any deficiency, misstatement or concealment of facts is found in the documents or information furnished by a candidate, or if a candidate fails to furnish the requisite documents or information at any stage, even after appointment, the candidature shall be cancelled. Such concealment or misstatement shall also entail proceedings under the relevant rules.
