While lauding Pakistan Army efforts in demolishing menace of terrorism on Tuesday Commander of the Polish Armed Forces Lieutenant General Jaroslaw Mika appreciated Pakistan contributions towards regional peace and stability.
According to press released issued by Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) General Mika visited to the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi and called upon Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
“Issues of mutual interest including defence, training and security cooperation between the two armies were discussed,” the ISPR said.
On arrival at GHQ, the commander of the Polish armed forces laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada whereas a contingent of Pakistan Army presented guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
Earlier, the Commander also called on Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force at Air Headquarters Islamabad.
Office of the Public Relations PAF said that during the meeting various matters pertaining to regional security and mutual cooperation came under discussion. Commander Polish Armed Forces lauded the sound professionalism of PAF.
