Sharafat launches book today

Born in Pakpattan, a small district of the Southern Punjab, Sharafat Ali Chaudhry is a Lawyer with an academic background in the disciplines of Law, Social Sciences and Humanities.

He graduated with an LLB and MA in English literature from Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan; and MSc in Development Studies with a gold medal from Iqra University in Islamabad. He holds an MPhil International Development degree with a gold medal and a major in Law & Development from Iqra University. He has worked in the development sector with Qatar Red Crescent, Islamic Relief and the Society for the Advancement of Education.

He has also worked as a consultant in different projects with the Punjab Education Sector Reforms program, the Directorate of Staff Development Punjab, Care international, Plan international, CIDA, ROTA, UNICEF and the World Bank.
As a visiting faculty member, he taught Business Law, International Law and Human Rights Law at Iqra University. Previously, he taught at the Islamabad Police Academy and the International Islamic University, Islamabad. He is the founding partner of the law firm Hassan & Sharafat (HS Advocates) and is associated with the renowned law firms Jurisconsultants, and the Cyprus-based Yiannis Papazacharia L.L.C.
