Islamabad, : Supreme Court (SC) has admitted for preliminary hearing contempt of court petition filed against Imran Khan and has ordered for fixing it for hearing.
A 3 member bench presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar took up the case for hearing against Imran Khan filed by the petitioner Nasir Kyani.
Hashmat Habib appeared in the court on behalf of petitioner and took the plea that Imran Khan has used derogatory remarks against former Chief Justice Iftikhar Chauhdary and
Contempt of Court proceedings should be initiated against Imran Khan.
Chief Justice (CJP) admitted the petition for preliminary hearing remarking we fix this matter for hearing separately.
Court has adjourned the hearing of the case for indefinite period.
